Active Manuka Honey

The manuka pollen is collected by honey-bees from the manuka tree (Leptospermum scoparium), the same plant family of the Tea Tree in Australia. The bush only flowers for between 2-6 weeks of the year. This would be one of the reasons why the honey is regarded as a great product to use both topically and internally. It is wonderful for digestive maintenance.

Whats the taste of manuka honey ?

Unlike the taste of honeys originating from North America, manuka honey has a very unique taste. Some comment on the medicinal taste of manuka honey, others say they can notice hints of eucalyptus in the taste.
