L-Tyrosine is an essential amino acid required for the synthesis of thyroid hormones and the catecholamine neurotransmitters dopamine and norepinephrine. Research supports L-Tyrosine's ability to help in the management of stress arising from physical or psychological origins, including sleep deprivation and multitasking.

Suggested Use

Cautions
For prolonged use, consult a health care practitioner. Supplemental L-Tyrosine may increase blood pressure or lead to difficulty sleeping in some persons. Persons with hyperthyroidism, Graves' disease, active melanoma, or those taking dopamine, thyroid hormone medication and/or contraceptive medications, or other psychoactive medications should consult with their physicians. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have the genetic metabolic disorder phenylketonuria (PKU). Discontinue if you experience nausea, headache, fatigue, heartburn or joint pain.
