(Brand: Kirkman Labs) Culturelle HS capsules contains a guaranteed 10 billion colony-forming units (CFUs) up until the expiry date. (Many companies list the number of units at the time of manufacture but do not guarantee that amount up until the expiry date.) Culturelle is manufactured in a size 1 vegetable based capsule and is in a chicory root base called inulin.
Capsules are individually wrapped in a double-foil blister pack and sealed with nitrogen to provide stability. Culturelle is available in a cardboard box with six foil wrapped strips, each containing 5 capsules. The capsules can be easily dispensed by gently pressing the capsule through the underside of the foil strip and taking as directed.
Each capsule is individually sealed in a double-foil blister to insure freshness. The capsule has a minimum of 80 mgs of Lactobacillus GG, 245 mgs of Inulin, in a vegetarian capsule.
We recommend storing Culturelle at refrigerated temperatures. Although the product may be maintained at room temperature for several weeks, storing it under refrigeration can extend the stability of the product. Culturelle is formulated without sugar, yeast, sodium or preservatives.
Ingredients: Inulin (chicory root extract) 245mg, Lactobacillus GG 30 billion cells, vegetarian (hypromellose) capsule . Contains less than .01mg casein and whey (Lactobacillus GG is grown on whey and will contain trace levels).
